CRABS

We recommend one for every 3-gallons of water.  Scavenges constantly for algae, uneaten food, and other waste. Lives in abandoned snail shells.

Green Emerald Crabs (Mithrax)    $11.99 each     

We recommend one for every 25 -gallons of water.  Loves to eat algae, can be used to help control Green Bubble algae.

 

Arrow Crabs    29.99 each

One per aquarium is best, great for keeping bristle worms under control.  Likes a few dark places amongst the rock to hide out in.  Does not get along with Coral Banded shrimp.

 

Sally Light Foot Crab     $19.99 each     

Great at taking care of hair algae. We recommend one per 30 gallons.  Scavenges the rockwork and sand for meaty food. Can move very quickly. Large specimens my catch small fish!

SHRIMP & LOBSTERS

Peppermint Shrimp     $9.99 each     3 / $25.00-Out of Stock

One shrimp for every 10 gallons is very helpful for controlling the pest anemone Aptasia.  Scavenge for food, and like to hide in caves. Peppermint shrimp like to live in pairs or small groups.

 

Cleaner Shrimp      $39.99 each

Scavenging shrimp that likes to live in pairs or small groups.  May be seen walking over fish, removing parasites (the fish like it!).  Have long white antennae that can be seen even when the shrimp is hiding.

 

Coral Banded Shrimp     $34.99 each

This shrimp likes to scavenge for meaty foods.  Should not be kept with other shrimps, including it’s own kind.  May be seen cleaning and eating parasites off fish’s bodies.

 

Blood Shrimp     $99.99 each

A brilliant red bodied shrimp with white freckles, legs, and antennae.  Scavenges for meaty foods, and may be seen cleaning parasites off fish’s bodies.  Likes to have a cave to hide in.

 

Purple Reef Lobster     $29.99 each-Out of Stock

Only one lobster per tank is best.  Likes to burrow in gravel, and is most active at night.  Likes to be fed meaty foods.
